Green Creek First Baptist accepts the Great Commission of
Matthew 28:18-20 and understands it to mean evangelism, church
planting, and the development of born-again believers. We
endeavor to fulfill this commission through the Cooperative
Program of the Southern Baptist Convention and through direct
partnership with other believers. We work in cooperation
with the North Carolina Baptist State Convention and its
agencies. Further, we participate in disaster relief,
short-term construction projects, and church start
partnerships. We work in conjunction with the Wycliffe
Bible Translators partnership and Bible Centered Ministries
International through the planting of indigenous congregations
in India, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, and Malawi. We also
cosponsor a rescue mission for men and women and conduct weekly
ministries in the jail and nursing homes.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
